Jim Kiser began his martial arts training in February 1998 under Jason McCormick of Karate World in Surfside Beach, SC. At present, Jim is a third degree black belt in Zen Ketsugo karate and a BLACK belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Over the years, Jim has competed in numerous sport karate and jiu-jitsu events. Most notably, winning the SKIL world championship in adult self defense and forms in 2004 at the Super Grand World Games.
Sandie Frattura's involvement in the martial arts began in February 1999 with a cardio kickboxing class. After more than a year of cardio kickboxing, Sandie began training in American Karate and Tae Kwon Do. She earned her black belt in January 2004 under Jason McCormick of Karate World in Surfside Beach, SC. Over the years, Sandie has participated in several self defense demonstrations (being her favorite aspect of the martial arts) and continues to participate in cardio kickboxing.
In the future, Jim and Sandie plan to focus all of their efforts into growing their martial arts school and developing a sport karate and sport jiu-jitsu competition team.
